Support for nervous systems stuck in survival mode

A space for people living with PTSD, trauma, and long term stress to gently come back into a relationship with their bodies. Through trauma informed, body based practices, we focus on nervous system regulation and the slow release of what has been held for too long, so you can feel calmer, more present, and more in control of your everyday life.

When living in your body feels hard

Many of the people who find their way to this work have spent years in survival mode. Always on alert, or completely shut down. They often feel unsafe in their own body, exhausted by symptoms that never seem to ease, and unsure how to change what is happening in their nervous system. If you recognise yourself in any of these, you are not alone:

  • Feeling trapped in survival mode, always on edge, scanning, or shutting down and going numb

  • Feeling unsafe or unsettled in your own body

  • Struggling to feel present, embodied or connected

  • Exhausted by poor sleep, night waking or difficulty settling

  • Finding everyday tasks overwhelming, including leaving the house or completing simple jobs

  • Managing symptoms quietly while trying to appear “fine” to others

  • Feeling the strain in relationships, finding it hard to communicate needs or stay emotionally present

Why you might be here

By the time you find your way to this workshop, you’ve often already done a lot of emotional work. Talk therapy may have helped you understand your story, but your body can still feel stuck in survival mode.

You start looking for something different when:

  • You know your nervous system needs more than talking

  • You feel overwhelmed by all the techniques and are unsure what actually works

  • You’re craving practical tools you can use yourself, not long term dependence on a practitioner

  • You’re ready for a body based approach that doesn’t require you to relive traumatic experiences

  • You want to feel empowered, capable and more in control of your own healing
